SFRS Service Delivery Review (SDR) Consultation
Overview
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is currently undertaking a Service Delivery Review (SDR): a comprehensive assessment of how SFRS delivers on its core duty to keep Scotland’s communities safe.
As part of the SDR, SFRS is examining everything we do and how we do it, to ensure that we have the right resources in the right place at the right time. This includes considering where fire stations and appliances are based, the duty systems fire crews work to and their wider role in ensuring community safety and resilience.
Throughout the review process, community and firefighter safety remain at the heart of what SFRS does. As a result of the review process, we will implement changes that enhance safety and resilience in the communities we serve.
Through this review process, SFRS has determined 23 proposed possible changes in how we provide services in certain areas of Scotland.
The SFRS invites you to share your views on these proposed changes. A glossary of terms is available here.
In addition to this online survey, we will be running a series of public engagement events in communities across Scotland. Information about these (dates, times and locations) and how you can book a place, can be found via our website.
Please note you are not required to submit any personal information to complete the survey and these questions are optional. You can read more in our privacy notice.
